Oh, the horror!

Pinatas are subjected on a daily basis, worldwide, to murder and maiming. Why have we, as a species, decided to condone this horrid act? This is not just a new phenomena. This has been the case throughout the history of the pinata.

I know... you may have attended a pinata party yourself and are wondering, "what's this guys beef?" Well, let me tell you. Pinatas are people too! Would you want your son or daughter to be maimed as seen below? Would you want them then thrown out in the garbage, burnt in a fire, or worse, left outside to melt in the rain? OH THE TRAGEDY OF IT ALL!
